One super-fast way to have more energy

Have you noticed a time of day when you feel more sluggish, unfocused, like you’d like to take a nap?

For me, it’s around 2pm in the afternoon. That’s when I’m in the UnZone—the place where clarity and ideas go to die. Since I’m self-employed, my biggest temptation is to turn off the computer and call it a day without reaching my goals. And that ain’t happening.

I’m committed to myself, to the Creative Force that works through me (and you) to accomplish whatever is written on my heart. But the only way to do that is to show up and get to work.

So here’s a little technique to bring more energy when you need it.

Jump.

Get out of your chair and jump up and down. Turn on some music if you want to, and jump, jump, jump.

Then swivel those hips. Move them side to side, and all around. You’re bringing Kundalini Life Force into your body, chasing away the mind fog by filling every cell of your being with energy.

Then shake everything out. Your head, your shoulders and arms, hands, hips, legs, and feet. Don’t forget to stretch your jaw, stick your tongue out as far as you can, and wiggle the eyebrows.
After this, I usually have a drink of water feeling fully recharged and ready to get back to work. If you work in a public space, get up and move. Head for the restroom and do your jumping in there. I promise, you’ll feel more energized.
