Chapter 1: Life is for you to decide.
“A lot of us are rather hard on ourselves. We have difficulty letting go of past hurts, faults, and actions. We tend to lump all our errors together every time one occurs, making them so much larger than they are. On the flip side, we take our positive events one at a time and rarely think of them again when we should be practicing the exact opposite. We spend much more time bemoaning mistakes than celebrating successes.

“Whether you remember it or not, you have within yourself the same eternal creative force that birthed the stars and the planets—the same innate intelligence that endlessly and flawlessly instructs winter to become spring, and your skin to repair itself from a cut. What you tell yourself, or what you’re willing to believe of what others tell you, clearly forms your idea of reality. It is estimated that you have over fifty thousand thoughts a day, and every single one of them is creative; however, you cannot stop perpetuating negative events or illnesses in your life if you aren’t even aware of the thoughts that created them.”

Chapter 2: Are you making God too human?

“The Source of All does not say, ‘I love you if you do as I say.’ The Infinite does not command us. What purpose would it serve for the Infinite to do so? A command suggests a ruler who must be obeyed. The Infinite needs nothing. The Infinite is the originating power source preceding and throughout everything. It creates a thing by becoming that thing. The Eternal Creative Force is everything, including us.

“The Infinite is fully and completely self-sufficient and needs nothing, least of all our loyalty or following. Do you honestly believe we have the freedom of choice only to have “God” command us to choose as he decides? Even from our limited human standpoint we can see that the best managers do not command their employees, but rather encourage individual questions and ideas. They back up their people with positive support. Do you think the Infinite can be less for us than the best of our earthly managers?”

Chapter 3: Remember your true nature.

“All negative emotions, such as fear, anxiety, bitterness, hatred, envy, jealousy, resentment, and worry, are toxic because they interfere with the body’s balance, function, and natural state of well-being. All emotions live on in your mind and body as memories long after whatever source triggered their being. One way you keep negative emotions alive is through the little stories you run in your head. Often these stories play in your mind for hours, even days at a time. For instance, a worry story may sound something like this: If only my spouse would’ve listened to me and stayed home tonight. What if the weather turns bad and it starts to snow? What if the road gets icy and the car ends up in the ditch? What if no one finds my person? They could end up dead. What would I ever do without my person? Oh why, oh why didn’t my person listen to me?

“Now the person thinking these worrisome thoughts may be lying in the comfort of a nice warm bed, yet the only thing real to the person while in the clutches of worry (or any negative emotion) is the false story in their mind. Let go of the story!”

Chapter 4: Reconsider your childhood.

“You are not tied to this planet or any other plane of existence. You are a wise spiritual being (presence, soul, consciousness, true self) in a human body. The coming together of sperm and egg were not the beginning of your life. Conception is the coming together of sperm, egg, and spirit—your spirit, your innate governing life force. The union is powerful and miraculous.

“During the Earth Adventure, you are a spirit (eternal essence) confined within a human brain and body. As such, your brain and body learn, grow, and expand as part of a human, but in true reality you are already complete and nothing ever changes that. In essence, you were never a child.

“We are wise beings born to declare and express our true nature. We remember our true nature through experiences. Every experience is an opportunity for us to decide who we are in relationship to the experience, then once again to create the next vision of who we are.”

Chapter 5: Wellness is your natural state.

“The mind is composed of two parts: the conscious and the subconscious. The conscious is the thinking mind (the place where choices are made) and the subconscious is the builder mind (the place where choices are manifested into reality). The builder mind is impartial and mechanical in its workings. It never chooses anything and it never judges what the thinking mind has chosen. It simply builds from whatever thoughts the thinking mind sends it. The thinking mind cannot build a thing. It functions as the architect; its thoughts and decisions act as the blueprints for the builder mind.

“From this ‘middle’ ground of your thinking/builder mind, you may make choices that are guided either by your peaceful spirit center within or by what’s happening outside yourself at the physical level. But remember, the physical level is the ‘effect’ after the ‘cause.’ It is the place where all your beliefs are made real. By the time your body shows symptoms of disease, know that you have already chosen to have illness. It doesn’t matter in the least if you realized you were choosing it or not.

“Your physical being is always subservient to the mind. They are not separate. What the mind thinks, feels, and believes, the body believes and becomes.”

Chapter 6: All relationships are holy.

“Develop the trust that life works perfectly. Do not analyze anyone; analyze only your own thoughts and reactions, because those are the only things you can do something about. People mirror what you need to change for your higher evolution. The mannerisms that really bug you in someone else are the very things you need to notice in yourself. People will show you every side of these traits until you finally accept that you have these traits and let go of them.

“No life is ever a waste or failure and no one can truly know the meaning of someone else’s life. It’s pointless to judge in this way, as the actions of another may be just what you need to bring clarity to your own life.

“It’s good to put yourself in the shoes of another before speaking your mind, but never try to wear their pants. It’s not your job to make decisions for someone else, nor is it your responsibility to make their lives work. You cannot solve other people’s problems. To think you can is faulty, dangerous thinking because it feeds the ego (the mind-created self), further binding you to the earth illusions. If the advice you give to someone helps them, know that you did not change anything—it is always the other person who changed and only they can do that. All you need do and can do is make your own life the highest statement of who you wish to be.

“You are not a victim and neither is anyone else. There is only one source of evil on earth and that is human unconsciousness. Each one of us has a hand in creating the Earth Adventure as we now see it. If you desire a change on earth, be the change you desire. View every person who comes to you as a priceless gift, no matter the personality they display. They are giving you the opportunity to know yourself better, more intimately, and thus you also come to know the Infinite Creative Force inside you.”

Chapter 7: Create the life of your dreams.

“There are no random happenings, only what is created. The Infinite creates a thing by becoming that thing. Therefore, the formula for creating the life of your dreams is to become very clear about your life purpose. Your life purpose is always the thing that fills you with excitement and joy. Consciously focus your thoughts on your purpose. The universe reads these thought waves like a recipe and whips up whatever concoction you write down.

“You always get what you create, and you are always creating through the power of your thoughts. Quite often, however, you are not paying attention to what you’re thinking, and that makes all the difference. Monitor your thoughts and consciously choose what you think about.

“What occupies your mind? What thoughts do you have? Are you aware of what you’re thinking? Often your mind is filled with chore lists, or worry over the thoughts or actions of others. Spend no time on such concerns. Instead, focus on what you yearn for. Focus on your dreams, your true desire, the things you feel passionate about. Catch all negative thoughts and replace them immediately with positive images aligned with the life you wish to create. Always challenge yourself to think on a higher level, to grow.”

Chapter 8: Recognize the fear illusion.

“For many people the practical benefit of fear has been replaced in the mind with a twisted, crippling version that does not serve them. They are afraid of people, afraid to show emotion, afraid of their own bodies—they are even afraid to think for themselves. They maintain a skewed, negative view of the world, which hurts them because believing is seeing. Life will always provide evidence of what they believe.

“Even in your most oblivious state you are still the creator of your thoughts, which bring about your reality. To live life more peacefully, with a greater sense of control, guide your thoughts toward your goals and purpose, which are always the greatest wish you have for yourself. You will always attract to yourself those things that most closely match your idea of who you are and what the world is about.

“You cannot hide your thoughts, because they quickly form your habits, and your habits become your circumstances. You can’t always change your circumstances, but you can change the thoughts that shape the circumstances. Use both the ‘good’ and the ‘bad’ circumstances as tools for claiming your next greatest vision of who you wish to be. For example, if you wish for more love in your life, be more loving. Think, say, and do the things a loving person would think, say, and do. In turn, the universe will recognize you as a person who is loving and will bring you even more of what you know yourself to be. See how this works? Know who you are, be even more of that—that which is—and you will be that.”

Chapter 9: Happiness is a choice.

“Happiness is a choice, never a result. The secret of happiness, or more accurately, the secret for a peaceful and joyful life, comes from self-approval and knowing that you never need to be anything other than yourself.

“How do you be your true self? Have you ever had the experience of driving a car, for instance, and suddenly realizing you have stopped at an intersection but you don’t know how you got there? You have no recollection of driving to the intersection, and yet here you are. So, where were you before you stopped?

“You were deep in thought. In fact, you were so deep in thought that it was as though you weren’t even present. And you weren’t. How could you be? Your mind had you trapped in a past memory or a future point in time where neither realm is real. You were not present in the real moment of Now, so your mind stepped in and pretended to be you.

“To be your true self, you must stay present and not wander off. Live your life right now in the present, which is the only real place you can live life. Be fully present—fully conscious. Any choice you make from your conscious level of being brings intelligent creation into your reality.”
